We currently do not read meters on weekends or holidays. We are able to
read meters Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- Can I have the meter read at a specific time of day?

At this time, we read the meter on the date requested and are not
specific to a time of day.

- How much notice is required to obtain a reading?

A 24-hour notice is required. If you need to have the reading taken on
a Monday, please notify us by the preceding Friday.

- Do I need to be home at the time of a reading?

The only time you need to be available is if we need to gain access to
an inside meter or if we need access to a gated or locked area. In most
cases, the meters are located on the outside of the building where there is
access.

- Is there a cost associated with opening a new account?

Yes. There is a small fee for an employee to read the meter and
turn on the gas when establishing service. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Can I open a new account, even though I have a previous unpaid
balance?

A new account may be opened if you are able to pay your unpaid balance,
or if a payment plan is arranged.
